Chocolate Chip Cookie Pops – By Sarah of Miss Candiquik

Hi everyone, I’m Sarah stopping over from the Miss CandiQuik Blog! I’m all about desserts and sweets that aren’t too difficult to make.

Cookie Pops 04b Chocolate Chip Cookie Pops By Sarah of Miss CandiquikToday I’m sharing a treat that is as much fun to make as it is to eat. A cookie… dressed up as a cookie- proves to be pretty cute, doesn’t it!?

So it looks like a chocolate chip cooking and all, but it’s really what’s on the inside that counts. A cookie lollipop dipped in a peanut butter coating! Kids and adults alike with love them. Trust me, they didn’t last long at all around here!

These are great displayed at a party, or you can package them with clear wrap and ribbon and give out as small gifts!

Here’s the how-to:

Chocolate Chip Cookie Pops

Yields approx. 16 cookie pops

Ingredients:

1 (16 oz.) package Vanilla CANDIQUIK Coating

2 tbsp creamy peanut butter

1 package Double Stuff OREO cookies

lollipop sticks

mini chocolate chips

Instructions:

Melt vanilla CandiQuik coating in tray according to directions on package. Stir in peanut butter until well mixed.

Gently pull apart each Oreo cookie; dip the top of the lollipop stick in the coating and press the lollipop stick in the center of the cookie halves. Repeat with all cookies.

Pour CandiQuik coating into a deep cup (this makes it easier to dip + I use a disposable cup for ease of clean-up).

Dip the cookie lollipops in melted coating; allow excess coating to drip off and place on wax paper to dry.

While the coating is still drying, sprinkle with mini chocolate chips.

ENJOY!
